He's moving his limbs well but there's no feeling of motion. Perhaps give him a little bounce in his stride. Take his base bone and have it move up and down a little. That should make it more lively. I think the model is great with similarly great texture. Also the bone weights look good, that's always what I have trouble with.
the model's really nice for low poly. i like the texture work too. but the run cycle is a little funny. you forgot to have him move up and down. when your foot pushes off the ground your whole body moves up, and when the leg comes back down our knee bends making our body move down. i'm sure you can find some run cycles online to use for reference.
The body is way too stiff though the character concept is nice. When running, the torso should be leaning a little forward to keep balance because if you try and keep a straight back while running... you'll end up on your face or back. ">>
this is pretty nice animation wise, and i really like the secondary motion from his little hair tail- However I really wish there was some more seconday motion in the other hanging parts of him, like his straps and his neck chain. It would really improve the flow of it! However, all in all its pretty nifty!!! *thumbs up*
